未だその方法が見出されないまま、建築後、耐用年数40年で廃炉になり解体される運命にある原子力発電所。90年代初頭、象徴的な現代日本の風景として捉えた日本全国の原発風景を今再び。
A nuclear power plant's life span is around 40 years, for these huge facilities this is their destiny, the difficulty lay in how to demolish them and secure the safety of the sites after they are de-commissioned. This exhibition explores the landscapes of nuclear power in the beginning of 1990’s - these images are a symbolical image of Japan today.
