UNTITLED is special working process that transposes young Japanese photographer Daisuke Yokota's distinctive working method to the realm of publishing. For each image in UNTITLED, Yokota applies an acidic solution directly to a screen-printed photograph on a sheet that has been specially preprinted with brass; the solution reacts chemically with the metallic surface, creating a random pattern in the image. For KYOTOGRAPHIE, the creation process of UNTITLED has been given an additional action of Zine-making. Within the installation space, the photographer will photograph and re-edit the original edition to generate a new publication on the day.

国際的に注目を浴びる若手写真家・横田大輔が2013年秋にパリとアムステルダムで行なったパフォーマンスを、京都にて開催いたします。酢酸と真鍮を化学反応させて、一点一点異なる写真をつくり出し、その特殊な印刷技法を用いる限定版写真集 『UNTITLED』 (GOLIGA社発行)の制作プロセスです。Kyotographieで出来上がった作品を撮影してレイアウトを組み、その日のうちにオリジナルZINEができる、作品はまた進化するプロセスまでをご覧いただけます。
